100 Women Who
Care
Juneau, Alaska
Our Purpose
Our purpose is simple: Give Back to Our Community.
We are a Giving Circle comprised of women committed to supporting Juneau non-profits by donating $100 four times a year. We meet, hear a pitch from three randomly chosen non-profits nominated by a member, and vote. The winning non-profit receives the bulk of the contributions!
With over 300 members, our combined donations make a big difference to Juneau non-profits!
How It Works?
We meet or Zoom every January, April, July, and October. Members can choose to meet in person or over Zoom.
Members of 100+WWC can nominate a Juneau non-profit they are passionate about. We currently have a list of 40 Juneau non-profits.
At the quarterly meetings, we hear from three non-profits whose names are drawn from a hat. The 100+ WWC member who nominated that organization has five minutes to deliver a pitch as to why we should choose that non-profit.
We have 10 minutes of follow-up questions, and then we vote.
Your $100 quarterly donation is now due. Grapevine will automatically charge your Credit card, or you can send us a $100 check payable to the winning non-profit.
You can also make additional donations to the runner-up non-profits.
The winning non-profit will receive $25,000. Any remaining funds will be divided among the two runners-up, so each non-profit will receive a generous donation.
How to Join 100+WWC Juneau
We ask that you answer four simple questions on the Grapevine site and it sends us an email and you are officially a member!
or Contact us at 100wwc.jnu@gmail.com
Join our Juneau Grapevine Circle by pledging to donate $100 each quarter to the winning non-profit.
If you can, attend our quarterly meetings (one hour) to learn about three Juneau non-profits, meet some incredible women of Juneau, and then vote.
